Well, these shoes are not necessarily Roman. Actually, the Lady/Lord of the Wilderness shoes are supposed to be very Greek because they are inspired by (a Roman copy of!) a Hellenistic statue of Artemis. Means, this design is more than 2000 years old. Kind of timeless, right?

And the Messenger is of course Hermes, herald of gods and – as Homer described him “A son, of many shifts, blandly cunning, a robber, a cattle driver, a bringer of dreams, a watcher by night, a thief at the gates.” Still an infant, he went out to steal Apollo’s cows, and he made shoes for his own soft feet -AND- for the cows.

All shoes are available for men or women, and they are all for Slink flat feet. At the mainstore!
