Bliensen + MaiTai @ Jewelry Fair -4-
Last but not least – here is Bliensen + MaiTai’s Dollarbie for the Jewelry Fair:

TP to Jewelry Fair, Winter 2 and follow the path to booth 19
Bliensen + MaiTai @ Jewelry Fair – 3 -
And here is the third new jewelry set: Bliensen + MaiTai – Hilde’s Embroidery.
Again I used original vintage embroidery for the textures – and I really like the idea to make the amazing handiwork of one of my ancestors part of our virtual world.

Necklace, Choker and Earrings are resizable and texture-scripted – you can change the colour of the beads and the metal AND in two unscripted versions with mixed beads (gold and silver). The bangles come in three unscripted sets (gold, silver and black steel)

Hilde’s Embroidery is also available as fatpack.

You can find all new releases at the Mainstore (Horst), in Albero and of course at the Jewelry Fair (Jewelry Fair 2, Winter 2, Booth 19).

Bliensen + MaiTai @ Jewelry Fair – Part 1
Jewelry Fair starts Sept. 18th – and it’s definitely worth a visit. Awesomeness from dozens of designers, a nice maze (no you won’t get lost, just your Linden Dollars will…) and some nice events.
And last but not least – I managed to set up my booth in time and even finished some new releases!
And here comes the first:

Polly’s Embroidery – vintage embroidery with colourful beads in silver, gold and black steel.

The set includes Earrings, Necklace, Bangles and Choker. All items except the bangles come size- and colourscripted – several gem-colours and three metals to choose from – AND in two unscripted versions with mixed beads (gold and silver).

The bangles-set includes three unscripted pair in silver, gold and black steel. The whole set is also available as fatpack.

All new releases are available at the Jewelry Fair, at the mainstore in Horst and at Albero.

PS: Important Info about SL-Glitch
If you are using the 1.23 viewer, you might have problems with certain high-detailed items: when you zoom in, some of the prims will disappear. This affects mainly high-detailed jewelry which is built with sculpties – i.e. the necklace shown above (the bracelets and earrings should be fine).
With the new viewer, Linden Lab has changed a certain default graphic setting – without informing or warning anyone in advance. They lowered the default maximum number of rendered vertices, apparently in order to “keep framerate up” for users with older graphic cards. The result is: with the default setting certain items don’t rez completely – in simple words: they look broken when you zoom closer.
If your jewelry doesn’t rez properly under the 1.23 viewer, you can fix this:
Open the ‘advanced’-menu in your main-tool-bar (if you can’t see the advanced-header, press ctrl-alt-d or on a mac: opt-crtl-d).
Go to ‘debug settings’
Type “renderMaxNodSize” into the small window which will pop up
Change the number to anything above 6000 – with a good graphic card you can even set it to 8000
Wait a few seconds – and voila, there are your prims.
The issue is known and reported (actually it’s already known for several months – and it’s hard to understand why it still exists). Lindens have promised that it will be fixed – we just don’t know when. A lot of high-quality-stuff is affected – and a lot of designers.
